Fox fx9 mini big pit reel unboxing

This is an unboxing of the Fox FX9 mini big pit reels before a full review. My initial impression is these reels look and feel very impressive however without putting them through their paces it's difficult to gauge how they'll stand up to years of rigorous carp fishing combined with the various weather elements.
I must take this opportunity to thank Dan for suggesting these as an option for marrying up with shorter rods whilst still having the ability to cast reasonably long distances.

Hi steve they are excellent reels their earlier reels the stratos etc were poor i thought and weighed a ton my friend has the fx9s and he loves them im on the bank as we speak im here till saturday hoping to get my first carp of the year and i actually use 10ft rods theres another member here an english fella he travels up here he just won a hull angling centre competition a new fox r3 camo bed sleep system its a lovely bit of kit cheers steve enjoy your new reels tightlines

Can heartily reccomend the 10ft 3.25 powermesh customs from future fishing. Even had a 50lb cat on them. Amazing rods for the money. Or any money.
