Nice Vid. The storm reminded me of day in Extremadura Spain on the Orellana. A storm that, at night made my rods spark blue and yes I got a run after 4 days of nothing. Caring for fish safety I locked up the reel and ran back to the bivvy. It was a moment I will never forget!

Hi Steve, I only recently found your vids on here and have now watched most if not all of them. I love your no nonsense approach to carp fishing and you come across as a real nice guy no ego and it i clear to me at least that you love the fish you catch. I gave up carp fishing 30 years ago to many carping at that time who had no respect for fish or the places they were fishing. Your vids have sparked me to get back on the carp but I am choosing my waters very carefully so that I get the type of fishing I like. Thanks for putting up your trips for us ordinary guys to enjoy, may your run of 50's continue tight lines and good luck.

I notice that predominantly you fish at waters in Europe, If you ever get the chance to go to Japan you should check out some of the mountainous lakes or Lake Biwa just outside Kyoto they contain massive carp, big ghosties, koi, commons and mirrors. I saw a ghostie in Lake Biwa and I've never seen anything like it it was huge, can't even estimate how big it was

When the carp cup is on Sumbar nobody care for the rules of lake! Line no thinner 0.35 , no shockleaders, lead no bigger 120g, realesing fish after 3 min,no fishboat and dron and etc. Did you know that?
