Great film Steve and great angling. You are very privileged to be able to fish these amazing waters, let alone have exclusive access. French angling is a lot different for most of us mere mortals. Often stuck in a non productive swim on a packed lake with anglers who some of whom take the fishing more seriously than others. I'm starting to lean towards some large public French waters in an attempt to get some space and peace. Live the dream for us bud!!

@@stevebriggs4638 For sure Steve i love a bit of wild fishing small rivers and canals in the NWest of England mainly but when they leave there gone, a few anglers 'Pushing' the fish around can work in ones favour especially on day ticket lakes etc i've found Tight lines Brad

A question for Jone please Hi Jone, i have been a Carp angler since the late 70s and my lifelong girlfriend is really an important part of my fishing helping with the logistics of longer sessions bait,water,optimism! However she has never stayed overnight in the bivvy which i would love Any tips to persuade her or is it just in the blood? I used to like football when I was younger but went off it when they felt the need to kiss each other when they scored a goal. I absolutely love carp fishing but refuse to be drawn in to kissing fish. Who the he'll started this ridiculous ritual. I really can't see the point. Won't be long and it will develop into wet towels in the shower block.
