The Spark's controller will not pair with the NEO. When I do my NEO review I will be doing photo and video comparisons between many drones, the Spark included. Cheers!

For sure. I usually have the DJI one or the orange-handled one (shown in video) in my camera bag. The DJI screwdriver has always been my go-to and up until a few weeks ago it had never failed me. Based on comments I've received though lots of folks don't care for it and the quality certainly isn't great. Cheers!

Hi. How do you charge the battery, if you have not got the Fly more combo?

The base Mini 4 Pro comes with a USB-C to USB-C PD (power delivery) cable, which can be used for charging. Just plug it in to a USB-C port and you're good to go. You can use a charger from another device to speed up charging. It can be up to a max of 30W. Cheers!

Thanks Steve. When you fly it: I'm particularly interested in the sound levels it produces, because when I upgraded from mini 2 to mini 3 pro, it was noticeably quieter. Wondering if there is any more improvement with the 4.

@@dist67 Haha! Yep! I talked about it in the video. Anyhow, I gave it a quick test and it actually sounds quieter but the decibel meter says it's ~1-2 db louder. I was comparing that to what I recorded with the Mini 3 Pro a year ago. I need to test them both with the same set up to be sure but I had to switch my M3Pro back to DJI OEM props and now I have a stripped screw. I am going to remedy that and do a proper test to be sure. @@SteveCoutts Indeed, I saw you held the 3 & 4 together stacked (12:23) and said the 4 had longer arms, but to me it looked like the front motors of the 3 were further apart than the 4 (when I look at 12:23) :-p Maybe it's parallax, or maybe because the front motors of the 4 are not right at the end of the arms, while they are for the 3. @@dist67 Longer arms or wingspan was likely a poor way to express it because stacked they almost look identical. Comparing the specs on DJI.com (folded, unfolded, props on/off) the Mini 4 Pro is larger in every measurement and that was in my head while shooting the unboxing. I did a more thorough examination later and the front arms look to be almost identical while the rear arms seem to be a touch longer. No worries. The in-depth testing is my favourite part so I am doing it regardless. The stripped screw was unfortunate but I think I jinxed myself in the video.

Yes. You get a USB-C to USB-C PD (power delivery cable). I typically charge using a DJI charger from one of my other Minis or just plug it in to a USB port for a nice, slow charge. Batteries like to be charged slower, it's better for their health and longevity. 😀

Nope. It's been the trend for a while now. I have 20W chargers from older DJI drones, which work just fine. Any charger (max 30W) will work. I often just let my batteries charge overnight via a really slow USB port. It's better for the batteries. Cheers!

Just bought the exact same package, and heard complaints about the screwdriver. However no one says what size screwdriver!!! PH00 or PH0000 ?

I heard PH000 is the one but when I tried it, it didn't fit that well to be honest. I bought two different screwdrivers to test. One from Klein Tools and one from Picquic. I honestly find the inexpensive one to fit better and use it more than the one from Klein Tools. Both screwdrivers are listed in the description of this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqOcfGeklLOMZ5osi=dMyd-wAiW7g38xoA. The DJI screwdriver is admittedly poor quality but I have only stripped one screw head (knock on wood) in all my time using it, which is since the original Mini. Technically the screws should only be used once but I tend to break that rule while testing 3rd party propellers because I need to do so many prop swaps. Under normal usage the DJI screwdriver should be just fine provided you don't end up with a tight propeller, which anecdotally seems to happen more often from the factory than in the hands of the consumer. I haven't specifically tested it for payload. The Mini 3 Pro could handle a GoPro so I suspect this one would be similar. It does really mess with the flight characteristics though so be careful. Cheers!

Nope. No charger. Seems to be the trend nowadays. I just use the 18W charger that came with one of my older Minis or just leave it go overnight in a regular USB port - a nice slow charge. 😀

I checked the store on DJI.com before dropped that text on my video and confirmed that the Mini 2 and 2 SE come with a propeller holder. After your comment though, I got really curious and wondered if maybe it was a newer thing and the earlier releases didn't, so I went back and looked at my unboxing footage. The original Mini Fly More Combo did NOT come with a propeller holder. The Mini 2 Fly More Combo DID - even though it's not pictured on the box. I'm glad I had the old footage or the mystery would have driven me nuts - haha! I haven't decided what I'm doing with the case yet but I will keep you in mind. Take care.

Yeah, it's definitely pricey. DJI still sells the Mini 2 SE and the Mini 3 (non-pro version). Both of those drones are very capable and quite a bit more affordable. Cheers!
