Hi Steve. I know you travel most inside Canada to ride the bicycle but if one day you decide to ride overseas, I suggest you to come to Brazil. Especially in the Mantiqueira Mountains. It’s the best place for climbing mountains but a wonderful place for ride a bicycle as well. And soon I’ll build our first house for tourists and put it in the Air B and B. Must to know the Mantiqueira. The Brazilian Tuscany. See you.

Thanks Anthony! Honestly, I haven't even watched the Mavic 2 announcement week (over 1 week later). I am quite content with my Spark but who knows maybe a "Spark 2" will tempt me - haha!

To be honest, 90% of the trails and paths are on PRIVATE land meaning access can be ended at anytime. Additionally, the surrounding forests have or are being heavily logged. Rossland needs a park! Provincial or Municipal it doesn't matter.
@SteveCoutts3 жыл бұрын
The local trail society, KCTS (Kootenay Columbia Trail Society), does a great job of managing relationships with private land owners to keep trail access open. Ideally a public park would be best to protect the trails though. Personally I have not found logging to be too much of an issue out here, especially compared to places like Fernie and Kananaskis, AB. Logging is always a threat though but again, KCTS maintains good relationships with those companies and that helps in maintaining access. Cheers!
