We need to make a deal. I don't give a shit if it's Kapanen, Kerfoot , Johnsson or even Nylander. This team won't make the playoffs until they upgrade the blue line. This one didn't look good on Freddy, but game in and game out, their TEAM defense has been absolute ass. The 5th goal where Liljegren got caught up ice trying to make a play, only for Kubalik to come in on the partial breakaway to score, is a perfect example of how shit this team defense is. The play by play said it was a mistake by Liljegren and a learning curve and blah blah blah, but they failed to mention that NO FORWARD FUCKING COVERED FOR HIM!?!? And it's not like they didn't have a chance, if you look at the replay, Marner : Didn't fall back to cover . Hyman : Ditto. This team is a fucking joke defensively and you can blame all the defencemen they have , but the forwards (like my example ) , have been just as bad if not worse defensively.
