July 2024 just picked up a 2010 Manual Grand Sport with 15,000 original miles garage queen still had original tires. This car is going to be a Timepiece. It is an extremely fun car to drive, very fast and honestly I think the C6 is the last true corvette!!

That's the dual-mode exhaust. They operate butterfly valves in the exhaust so the car can be quiet and reasonable (as well as helping out the torque, as a too-free exhaust can hurt your low-end a bit), but then at higher revs they open up for greater flow and noise.

That's the optional dual mode npp exhaust. Around 3k rpm's it opens up all 4 ports for a much louder and deeper exhaust note. Sounds awesome!

The color is oh "so 1993" wonderful! ...and the car is "so" even better - - - Actually, it's almost identical to 1967 Marina Blue on Corvettes. Very Classic Corvette indeed.

I paid 52K for a 2011 GS coupe, 2LT with NPP. Based on cash back incentives etc Most GS's you can order, mine took 5 weeks from signing to deliver with the exact (2) options, in the color I wanted

@AnimepimpYT I agree 100%. I have driven a 2008 LS3 and all you end up doing is squeezing the hell out of the steering wheel because the car pulls to 100mph really quick. All you care about is thaty the car is pointed straight and there is nothing in front of it when you stab the throttle.

@markko17 It's called build-your-own. Go to GM's Website and look up the options before you pop-off. You can load whatever options you want or don't want.

Less than 4 seconds? I thought the 505HP Z06 could do it in 3.8 or so, and the Grand Sport keeps up with that?

No it's probably a smudge over 4 flat since the base LS3 is around 4 flat and Z06 is at 3.6. Per many 0-60 reports

@AnimepimpYT Actually it's really not. It's extremely cheap and doesn't feel good in the hands. A $50,000 - 60,000 car shouldn't have the same steering wheel as a $15,000 car that is the worst in it's class (cobalt). Also, where did you get the idea that the cobalt is the same as the g6? The g6 is a midsize sedan comparable to the malibu. The cobalt is on the same platform as the old cavalier, which was also one of the worst cars in it's class.

I usually hate GM with a passion but the grand sport is the best, upgraded base model engine, and a Z06 body all for what I priced at $53,000 what a steal its a supercar, all those features they mentioned are BS thought, who needs the bose stereo, the power seats and bluetooth, plain is better

@ about 29 seconds he says, "You can get a Grand Sport for about $55,000." Actually you can't. They always load about $10-15,000 worth of options which bumps it up to close to $70,000. I have yet to see a Grand Sport without a boatload of options, most of which aren't necessary if all you care about is performance and handling.

@LastTransAm2002 i understand but i guess its about personal choice and i myself love performance cars and dont like anything that compromises performance. i mean its all about the looks and the driving in a car like that and quite frankly i think convertibles are for people who wanna show off and stuff you know. and in most performance cars the convertible version ruins the cars lines.
