The Banshee has always been based off of the Viper the car the "Coquette" is the corvette in GTA4 my friend lol and i think it's the first corvette based car in GTA

If you look at the buyer demographics for cars, pretty much anything in that kind of price range($50k+)is for "old" people, because most "young" people simply don't have the money for it. The average age of a Porsche 911 owner is 52, and Lambos and Ferraris are likely worse, seeing as how they're so much more expensive. Young professionals, sports stars and celebrities do buy them, but they make up a pretty small part of the consumer base. So yeah, people do need to educate themselves.
