I've always wanted to ask a person who is Jewish this, you know how some jews have curly hair on the side of their face, like is that a part of jewish culture which explains a person's social life like how Native American people wear their hair braided to worship their culture in a way that it represents their heritage of people who were oppressed during the Dawes Act

Hi Steve, the app sounds great in principle. But there is literally nothing on the website that explains how it actually works. Some people, believe it or not, are naive and ignorant enough to not know a standup will be ready to face a heckler. Excellent point, although you bring up an intriguing premise.. I would love to see a comic whose entire career centers around the notion that he purposely gets up on stage and starts off with one topic but that he wants the audience to talk back to him through the entire performance, engaging in conversation so we can see how quick-witted he/she is... Pretty much in the same regard that most comedians deal with hecklers, except these wouldn't necessarily all be hecklers it would be people engaging in conversation and picking at his/her brain and vice versa... every show would be different, the particular good comebacks could be shelved and reused by the comic when needed if they are incredibly funny ones, and so on... I think a comedian could actually maintain an entire career with that as the schtick/hook...you go to the shows purposely knowing that he/she WANTS you to engage, rather than the usual way of how comedians try to silence people in the audience... I would genuinely buy ticket every time this person came to perform...

Ya, I've only heckled once, dude kept talking about his dick, no one was laughing, but everyone was patiently waiting for him to move on to his next bit, but dick jokes was literally all he had, so he started getting frustrated, and started blaming the crowd because no one was laughing. Ya that's probably not the way to get them back, I mean I'm not a professional, but it didn't work for him at any rate. Everyone became an instant heckler. He threw the mic and stormed out. What's worst is he ruined it for the next comedian, who was actually quite funny (not like 'million views on KZbin' funny, but funny enough for any other night), but no one felt like laughing after that.

@stilltoomanyhats That does seem pretty reasonable. People - particularly groups of people - don't tend to fit neatly into tight, little, separate boxes. If you haven't seen 'Schindler's List', you ought to because it's a good movie. Anyway, the person whom the film is based on was a real person. He was a member of the Nazi party, he was greedy, he was selfish, he was unfaithful to his wife, he profited on the backs of some of the worst atrocities of the 20th century, and he risked his own life to save 1,200 Jewish prisoners. Does that make him "good"? Maybe not, but I'd say it makes him not completely "bad" either.

@@kevindavis3234 Fine, #notallnazis is reasonable enough in the sense of "the world is complicated and people are complicated", but you could say that about anything and in practice some level of simplicificaton/abstraction/generalisation is both inevitable and usually perfectly fine (most useful maps tend to be somewhat smaller than the corresponding territory). Honestly. Touring with you and watching your videos. This is my favorite thing ever. You ignored her a couple times. and then just went 0-100 lol. And she got the hint and left. Then you made fun of her for 10 minutes afterwards. That was a best case scenario for everyone involved. Amazing. Although I guess you can't call it a hint if you scream FUCK OFF. lol. Nice work, Steve.

Hey at Steve nice click bait I've spent 3 years on KZbin trying to find click bait that can compare to that of PewDiePie's video tiltles... Actually your video isn't necessarily click bait since it tells exactly what your video is about but still it's a attention jerker... I came here on KZbin to watch some of my favorite KZbinrs videos (ser winter) he's a real funny guy and makes good rust content... Back on topic.. I liked your material and if you had listened you could hear her boots as she walked away... xD jk love your stuff I may have just found out about you but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be watching app your videos by 1:00am tomorrow!

"It's audience's resposnibility to learn about the comedian they're coming to see"! ?? What are you on about, it's not homework, it's entertainment, if you only want your fans to come and watch become famous first. I heard you're a bit out there so I had to check it out, and you really are entitled little snowflake. How do you get gigs? Not at any of my clubs that's for sure lol You make fun at poor people working at walmarts across the country, but then you have the nerve to be "offended" about your own group being objectified, when you're a comedian who gets more money for less work than regular people. Maybe you don't, so that's why you're pissed, but dude you need to get a grip.
@giantnerd144 жыл бұрын
@@kekizeki2481 So you're saying it's the performer's fault if their show isn't what you wanted? That's like going to see a punk rock group and getting pissed off that they weren't playing any blues. You should have a general idea of what sort of act you are buying a ticket to, otherwise you can't get upset when it's not what you wanted.
