Great game, never understood why they got rid of damage models and manual gearbox having just 4 speed. My only complaints.

Yeah idk about the damage models, maybe they thought it was a bit too much extra work for essentially uglier cars, I’ll ask STV some time.

Just once I’d like to play on an actual arcade cab. We didn’t have much for arcades here in my area. I’m a big 2049 fan from getting it on the Dreamcast in its heyday. I’ve tried to mess around with it on MAME, but I struggle getting controls setup properly. (Not having a steering wheel doesn’t help either). Bonus info: I could hear Monster Truck Madness music at the end of the ad.

Controllers actually aren't that bad once you get deadzones set up correctly. I use a gamecube controller out of convenience and I made it so that I can just barely select the edge cars, that way I'm less likely to spin out from steering. That's a bummer that they're not anywhere near you; they're only getting more rare as time goes on and I assume more expensive eventually, even the console games go for a lot now.

@@Stevie2049 yeah, I’m glad I have all the console variations covered. I even have the Dreamcast Demo CD haha. I’m gonna have to look up a video on setting up deadzones so I can play it properly. Last time I tried with a Dual Shock 4, it kept creeping to the right ever so slightly
