Oh la la! Thanksgiving Day here in Canada. That means many of us are busy cooking, spending time with family and over extended. I'm feeling squeezed by the pressure myself triggered by a lot of external craziness.

This is a day to be quiet, spend time outside and focus on our own vitality and health - mental and physical; avoid people and be kind to those we run into. Just make yourself a peace bubble and guard it. Use the Mars energy to do good things for your body. If anger bubbles up, do release exercises. Be thankful for the anger. It is showing you something. Acknowledge it and observe it, just don't get swept up in it. Edit: I have natal Chiron square Mars and yes, self sabotage has been a recurring theme in life and yes, I have ankle issues. It's all good. It has a purpose and I am open to the lessons.

Thanks Steve! So timely. Just 5 minutes ago I told a person that I've been messaging with that I needed to take a break from the political side of our conversations. He's a well traveled individual and has seen the good and bad in the world. I told him how appreciative I am of his cultural contributions to our conversations, but that for my emotional and mental health I can't talk about politics any longer. I also blocked a family member from certain social media access so that I don't even have her presence in front of me, let alone her pummeling political views. I've withdrawn from political groups on social media, as well. And was doing breathing exercises a few minutes ago. So refreshing!

It could also be that your current situation sucks Lorraine. This alignment doesn't make you uncomfortable or worsen your situation. It shines a harsh (opposition) light (the Sun) on old wounds (Chiron) and can incline you to deal with that pain with impulsive and unwise (square) anger (Mars)

I'm so energized today! Walked the dog in brilliant sunshine, danced all around the house, jumped rope, talking on phone to wonderful friend... we both have done alot of work on mother wounding, abandonment, frustration, menopause ....and we have come out the other side no longer victims, rather having assimilated the lessions, freed ourselves and our lineages, deeply connecting to ourselves and "others", embodying the wounded healer as Activists in service. We've literally just ended very loving and juicy phone call discussing all the topics you mentioned here (before listening to your video). It has taken me half a century to find my “personal footing” and I have just begun my first career as an Art teacher after raising 4 kids. I am grateful that Mars has helped me to survive, however, in my lifetime, I have broken my upper left arm and ankle and collected a lifetime of bruises and scars because I get in too big of a hurry.
