Watched plenty of videos...this was the best to show how the music evolved. Well done from Australia Sir.

I love your style and explanations. I need to loosen up to have your freedom of expression. I hope I can get to that point. I am a very strict, rigid thinker. You are amazing. Love your style. Thank you for putting me on the right path.

Fun and Success. I am Subscriber of your Pianoman Approach course and I love your GLIDE 5 Step concept as a beginner. It makes the entrance to a song easier and your new Tutorial format is helping me to play and sound good. Even with no Music learning for 50 years. Yes, I have to train my fingers, and yes, I have to understand what to do, but it works. Thank you Steve. What you bringing up here helps a lot learning and understanding a complete Song. And that is a lot lot more value compared to the other yt channels I found. Take care. Thank you again. Good Luck. From Germany.

Sorry...should have mentioned it....."Waltz".....it's only used for songs in 3/4 or sometimes 6/8 meters

Watched the whole video through and cannot say this is for beginners. I took 6 years of lessons and am struggling to understand what your right hand is doing because you didn't slow down and explain the different vocal variations. You explained the left hand well, and some of what the right hand was doing but, when you slow down the video you can see that the right hand is playing different inversions of the same chords. It's also changing between triads and dyads (two and three finger chords). Basically what I'm saying is there's no way that someone's just gonna pick up the right hand without slowing down the video to 0.25/0.5x speed and it should be explained a bit better. Good video though

Well....I agree with everything you've said......the problem is that the purpose of this video isn't to be a singular tool for a total beginner to look at and walk away playing "The Gambler". I'm sorry if I wasn't more clear about that, but I try to be very transparent in what I say in these demo videos. I teach a "Method" of playing that focuses on three core elements (Chords, Rhythm Patterns, Simple Improv) in my online course, "The Piano Man Approach". The purpose of videos like this is to demonstrate how quickly you can use my G.L.I.D.E. song learning formula on a song once you know to use those three key elements. So....videos like this are to showcase what the method can help a person learn to do relatively quickly, as well as give examples of the method in action for my existing students who either have or are still learning the method. Anyway....again, I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear enough....if you were expecting a note for note tutorial telling you exactly how to play it, the video would most definitely fall short....but as I said, that wasn't my aim with this or any other "G.L.I.D.E. Song Learning Formula" demonstration video. Thanks for your feedback! :-)

@@PianoManSteve I see, its more of the method than actually trying to teach a specific way of playing it. I respect that.
