Thanks Steve, yea the Baldwin has a nice touch and velvet sound I have always found. It reminds me of the Baldwins my junior college had way back in the early 70's, that I loved practicing on. No, no need , IMHO to put all those hours of new work into redoing the tutorials. Heck if you have all that time and you don't know what to do with it, put out Billy's 1.) "Souvenir" and 2.) "Ain't No Crime" which I'm dying to get my teeth into!!LOL also the beautiful, beautiful " The Mexican Connection"..your tutorials are great the way they are. I'm compiling quite an arsenal of tunes, and I'm now giving myself this fall, winter, and early spring to get maybe 15-20 tunes down COLD, that I can play at the drop of a dime, and going to try to play in public for the first time in many, many, years thanks to you Steve, God Bless you! PS You have no idea how inspiring it is for me, and I'm sure others, to have you back with your videos for us to get like you say , 'the juices' flowing:-) Bruce

Went from a Motif XF 7 to a MOXF6. The weight of the Motif I just could take anymore with gigging. Moxf weighs a third of the Motif. One thing I miss is the going from 76 down to a smaller keyboard as a compromise for size and weight. I really miss my Motif, but I don't miss lugging that thing around.

If memory serves me, this was the unit you played on the older Captain Jack and Root beer Rag Demos vids? No LCD at all. Old school. The piano sound is pretty good. I have been looking to upgrade my Yamaha DGX500 and Baldwin wasn't even on the radar until I saw your video. I'm going to search them and see they have to offer. That little "James" bit you played with the Rhodes voice sounded pretty legit. Lots of classic sounding '70's patches there. Is 128 Polyphony adequate using string layers etc... like "Sorry Seems to Be,," Appreciate you sharing this. Styx/Jerry Lee tutorial tease? too much to ask? (or any more- I know they're difficult to film, just asking though) Very cool vid and thanks so much for posting, Steve!

...picking up a couple of pieces of equipment? Your not fooling anyone. I suspect that you're a full blown gear addict....not unlike myself though. I have to carry an Epipen when I get near the Guitar Center. lol.
