Only eight lugs per head on the 22" bass drum help it achieve a thick sound. The array of tube lugs looks great!

Great seeing you demo a Tonal Balance kit. I'm still using Craviotto #643 kit with Tonal Balance toms in red sparkle. I recently performed with Gunhild Carling with that kit on her debut appearance at the Waco Hippodrome Theatre back in February.

Soundwise, I prefer these kind of shallow drums over the deep ones. Too often the "normal" sizes sound muddy with careless tuning

Drums sizes have always been weird. Why do we have 16/16 when the bass drum isn't 22/22, 10/7 12/8 13/9 14/10 16/12 make most sence to me.
