How to do a Resin String Pull

This video shows me having a go at a resin string pour. I was surprised how easy it was to do, even though I made a little mess. Although that is not unusual for me. I used epoxy resin for this, the link is below. This is an easy way to be seriously creative with resin and produce a resin painting that anyone would be proud of. This is ideal for beginners to resin painting.

I’ve seen this done with a ball chain and the results were amazing. Yours has a very floral aspect to it. Looks like a summer sky background. Nice work!

Your colour theory always has a pure innocence to it. I was thinking half way thru the pules you would use ie . the red string on top of the yellow then the yellow string on top of tbe gold to have the colours have some relation to each other .You are very good with the science of the products!

Great job. The red against the blue is awesome! I use the blue painter's tape & it seems to work well. It pulls off easy, including any drips.

Good job, as you were pulling the string off I was thinking, "How about letting that layer dry then do another clear coat of resin and another string pull in different places to the first pulls?"

When you use a heat gun or heat pen on resin does it make it cure faster? I'm new to resin and I've been watching your videos for tips and ideas! This turned out so pretty!

Yea I'm working on getting a respirator but I wear face masks for now. I usually wear 2 just in case.
