Thank you so much for this video, Steve! It was a tremendous help with a project I messed up at Christmas! I made a cutting board for a 93 year old lady with a picture of her and her "angels", but I messed up a corner of it. After watching this video, I was able to fix it and gave it to her for her birthday last month! She loved it!!

Hi Steve, here's an idea for a future video: I'd love to see how you store your jewelry items between shows. I've put mine on jewelry cards for display and then just put them in a box. Of course they get unorganized and tangled. Hoping for better suggestions. Thanks!

Hiya Steve, When the resin goes down a bit don't de-mould it. Leave it in the mould to fill it up with the resin. This way you don't have to worry about the resin rolling down on the sides ❤️

To stop edges when epoxy shrink, or minimise a lot, I use a bit of silicone oil around the edge before pouring resin into the mold. That work great on my projects, the resin follow down while shrinking instead of sticking to the side and leave an edge.

They are beautiful, even with the matte, freshly sanded surface; sanding made it look like unpolished natural stone. Thanks!

I learn so much from u ❤ thanks for doing these videos I hope u get all the awesomeness u deserve! I realized that 1 reason my coasters weren't coming out good was because of the wrong resin, and I learned that because of you! I learn so much other stuff too, but that was a coaster specific thing :) Thanks 4 putting out videos, and I hope your new place is a happy place 4 u, and that you are all healthy and healed up from the shingles.

Top tip: If you’re trying to flatten something by sanding it, put the sandpaper on a piece of tempered glass. Glass is always super flat and basically guarantees that you won’t have uneven pressure on the coaster as you sand it. Mirror is good, too, as long as it’s thick enough!

Thank you Steve! I've seen tutorials of doing it both ways but never seeing one used and the resulting abrasions. It's very timely due to warmer weather being around the corner(🤞) and having windows open to work with resin. I've heard of wet sanding but never realized the difference it would make.i want to make them for Christmas presents😊! The wet sanded coasters look so beautiful!!!💜🩶🩷

Steve how do you cover the items coated in resin to protect them from dust while they are curing? What do you normally use? Loved the video. The last coasters in the hexagonal shape looked like they were made of glass, so that is a very good resin obviously. God bless you and your family. Have a lovely weekend.

Epoxy is self leveling, meaning you could just flip the coaster to the ‘worst side’ put it back in the mold and pour a bit of epoxy resin on top and it will level off smooth. Iv done that on fishing rods and other epoxy resin projects as the top layer makes no difference to the look at that point.

I thought what do you mean you cannot find your leveling boards. And then “oh yes, he just moved” I am still finding stuff and I have been here a year and it is only 450 sq feet. How could any one lose anything, and yet I manage!
