Setup reminds me of the good ol' 1990s street race days. Crazy you mentthe snout! My buddy just got his motor done and installed. After breaking it in he stopped by my work, he launched when he left. The balancer snapped off, hit the ground then shot back up through his 4 inch freshly painted Cervini's cowl hood he waited 4 months to get.😬
@edwardthayer93864 жыл бұрын
I literally stood there for what seemed like 10 minutes wondering what the f@ck just happened. He just installed the motor that I know he had over 20 grand into, and this was in 1996. It was definitely crazy seeing it happen instead of being told about it. I don't remember all that was hurt but I know around a month later it was running again and he went 10.20s off the foot brake on just motor. We wear all running Vortechs then, he was running a solid roller so he was running a R-Trim and cog setup. If I remember the first time out it went 9.10 then he wasn't allowed to run no more from lack of certification. These were our street cars. I could only imagine having this DFI stuff now. But the good old days are priceless!

@@codyyoung3078 I ain't a fan of prosystems, I don't care for the owner. I like Steve and his work, he knows his stuff. One of the best in the business. @@codyyoung3078 nitrous is going out it's a thing of the past anyways. I don't know why people even care to mess with it. That 959 6 kit Musi only made 3100 hp. I ain't never called So I didn't know the phone said that but that's to damn funny... @jasonritter24924 жыл бұрын
@@codyyoung3078 That would be him. My phone switched the 572 to 540 because I'm usually talking about my PAR 540 136 setup with RFD heads, RFD intake, but I run a IRD dual needle and seat blow through e85/meth setup. The 540 he has Tyree Smith Tytech Performance built but shit it still made stupid power, over 3400 on the hub. I had to sell my nice but old smaller blower 540 to upgrade lol.. I ain't got money like that to have extra high dollar engines sitting around. Just like I wanna switch to a V30 128 Vortech on the gear drive but I gotta wait for this guy to pick up the 136 because I can't afford to have extra blowers and drives sitting around lol. I do agree a lot of grudge guys still run nitrous but their slowly coming around. A lot of street guys have switched over but still a lot of n2o guys around. I still have a complete but used 632 nitrous outlet engine on the shelf. My son said put it in the syclone and I'm like nope. A nice but simple, like you have here conventional 434 sbc, APD e85 blow through, Vortech supercharger is going in there over the winter to just cruise and play around in.
