Happy new year. Thank you and your team. I’m an old (81yo) 1980/90s bracket drag racer. So watching your prep work and all the amazing technology blows me away. I could do all my own work except power guides. Never had an aluminum block or heads. Only 327/350/383 chevy in a 1962 Corvette. Solid 11:90 car. I could touch 10:90s but that was $$$$ and all things fresh. More wins at 11:90. Again thank you.

Steve (and Val), Happy New Year. I love the channel and that you explained all the aspects of building monster HP engines. Your openness to sharing your "secrets" is Uber-level first-rate, and I regret it wasn't available to me back in 1970 when I started decades of making bad, ignorant, and uninformed gearhead (maybe life ones, too) decisions. In 2025, I hope you will keep showing us the SME tech and machinery needed to make SMLs, SMXs, and one-offs like BBH. I love dyno tech, tuning ph.d course on spark plugs, reading the origin stories, the car build stories, and the explanation about NOS to get the turbos to make a boost for launch. I love learning about two steps and converters, turbo plumbing, and the menagerie of Clark, Bailey, Taylor, Cleetus, Dewey, etc. Seeing Kyle evolve and grow is cool, too - nothing much better than watching the 2nd generation come into their own and have a shot at taking SME into the next generation. So keep it up in 2025 and beyond. Happy New Year.

I really enjoy this channel. I'm a mechanical nerd things you're telling makes sense to me. Fascinated is an understatement. I have never understood dry sump. The oil in the pan is falling from the motor as it's ran. How does the oil pump not suck air and cavitate on the suction side which would push it to the pressure side? I've never got an honest answer from anyone anyone. But I don't deal with dry something yet. You have an amazing way of explaining things. Looks like you have a wonderful family, a terrific job and you get to do what you love. Go racing.
