When he “teleports” the 6 of hearts into the corner piece of the rubix cube it’s obvious that those were already planted in the rubix cube before he gave them the rubix cube he just shuffled it a certain way, memorized which cube had which card and and when he was told the card they got, he just opened up which corner or box that had the card. W

In the second one the colour red green and white were actually turned towards him so what the judges saw was just the the random one when he threw it in the sky he actually turned it and the colors were only red white and green

may I enlighten your mind a bit? For i am a speedcuber and know a lot of those square things, i can tell you how some of those were made. For the first trick: he does not scramble the cube properly, as if you repeat a movement in a cube thats already solved it goes back at its original state. when he is with his hand inside the bag, he solves the cube OH (one handed, and there are lots of people who can solve it fast). Then, he gives it to simon. knowing that simon isnt a speedcuber or a cuber at all, he sees that the movements done are easy to get back (we can see it as well, with him "scrambling" it in just one axis), he puts the cube back getting it back to the known scramble. with that, he can solve the cube maching the colors, as he knows the way it is scrambled. second act: he does the false scrambling againin the cube, by repeating the movements again and again, getting it back almost to the solved state (i can prove that is almost because there is a pattern. yellow is opposite of white. blue opposite of green and orange opposite of red) and thats why he covers the top and bottom faces, so no one can see those are almost done. right before he throws the cube, he moves it, making it appear to be solved in mid air, but not realy, as it was three moves form done. Next the cube seems to be scrambled as well, but actually he solves it in just three sides, as you can see there are no opposite colors of the orange, blue and yellow showing in the scrambled part (you can see a man in the bakc pointing as he finds out this one, because of his angle) and thats why he scrambles it right away, so no one can see the other side. for the next one, with the card im NOT sure how it was done but i think that when he opens the corner of the cube, he places it from behind, because the card was hidden in between his fingers. third act: he gets the color she was thinking correctly. how? by solving the red side one handed, and as you can see, the other colors are in blocks, while the red is complete. thats because any colour she wantedcould have been solved easy. now for the matching cubes, as he says it, he had done it in the first act. he just gave it to someone who insnt a cuber, masking them scramble it poorly. while he sees it. in the given time, when he gets both the cubes, he simply undo the moves made on it, making it the same as his already known moves. those moves are the same as the ones he did before the show with the big cube, making it all seem like magic, but in reality, just cubing. btw, i searched and saw that he is a OH cuber, that have been to competitions in 2012, getting 25th place there. after 4 years he got better with one handed solves and started magic tricks. i got the info in the world cube association website (yup it is a thing). thanks for reading and letting me enlighten your minds.

I have an idea about how he could have done the torn card trick. Each rubiks cube has 8 corners, 12 edges, and 6 centers. If he had a different torn card in each piece, he could have simply memorized which card went in each piece, accounting for 26 cards. While this is not the whole deck, he could have been relying on the fact that when he displays the card fan to a judge, they are extremely unlikely to pick a card that is not visible or behind his hand. He could use this principle, possibly in combination with duplicate cards, to get down to 26 possibilities. As for memorizing where each card goes, I know memorizing 26 combinations seems unlikely, but he could narrow down the amount of memorization using rules such as "all torn black cards are located on pieces that have red on them". Then again, seeing as he is a speedcuber, memorization shouldn't be an issue for him, with all the OLLs and PLLs to memorize.

Really bugs me that at 4:13 the corner piece was never actually there. He made the ripping sounds by ripping sideways into the big piece. Edit: Ok so then you see that at 4:05 the corner of all the cards in the middle are already ripped off and probably in one of the cubes in the rubix and he probably just had to remember which. Not to mention he never shows the second half of the cards.

Since people like to figure it out, let me tell you how he did the first trick(not magic but trick), the first cube he solved while it he was remobing it from the bag(not that hard actually, if you practice one hand handle on rubik`s cube you can also do this one). Now the real hard part is the second matchin, that`s not a trick, it may look like one, but is actually a skill that a few people know, the reverse resolution, what he actually did was to look at 2 sides and reverse solve it( I would say it requires practice, but this is indeed an insane method to solve thing, and is hard as hell). Well i could tell how to solve the card one, but maybe another time. This is from a person who has been a rubik`s cube fan for more than 20 years.

Pause at 7:54. One side on Howie's cube has 3 white squares connecting in the shape of a V in the corner. In the end when he compares it to the big cube there is no side that has the white V. Clearly he switched the cube when he put it behind him. However i've got to say he is a very talented magician.

I know how he did it at 3:17 If u look closely before he drops it to the other hand the colours/colors thatnhave been solved are red,green and yellow. If u look beforehand when he shows us the cube BEFORE he drops it u can see all the colours/colors EXCEPT RED GREEN AND YELLOW MEANING THAT HE ONLY SOLVED THE RED GREEN AND YELLOW SIDE AND HIDES the rest from the audience. Tho that could just be me I had to turn it to 0.25 playback speed to see it

I think i know how he did it at 5:30 if u just get a second deck of cards en u put in every block of the cube 1 piece of a different card -> so u have 27 pieces of paper in the cube. And u make sure u only show those 27 cards . Then he just has to pick the good piece of thr cube.

3:15 the only faces that are completed are those that he shows the other are still mixed up :) So what I'm saying is that the white, red and the green faces are the only one that are completed and the blue orange and yellow didn't change (that's why he didn't show all the faces of the Rubik's cube

Him and the judges or at least the girl that picked 6 of diamonds did a set up before the show. he never took of the little corner piece he just did that noise with the rest of the card. so they pre did that so he told her to pick 6 of diamonds so then he could put the corner piece into the rubiks cube. its a smart trick but not unsolved.

3:13 OK SO IF U GO TO .25 SPEED YOU CAN SEE HOW ON THE SIDE YOU SEE THERES ONLY TWO COLORS ON IT, WHILE HE IS HOLDING IT YOU CAN SEE HIM SOLVING IT MAKING A SOLID WHITE AND GREEN LINE SHOVING IT TO THE BACK OF THE CUBE AND THEN HE FLIPS THE CUBE AND SHOWS THE SIDE THATS SOLID AND BEFORE ANYONE SAW THE ONE SIDE TH WAS UNSOLVED HE STARTED MIXING IT AGAIN. AT 3:20 THE UNSOLVED SIDE IS REVEALED FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND THEN HE STARTS TO MIX IT UP.
