He could like both sex, but prefered more men than women.... According to both Al Corley and Jack Coleman, Steven was bisexual, but in the series Steven said «I lived a lie to please you.. (.......). I'm homosexual, I'm gay. Steven is gay, someone please say it. Steven is gay» Fallon was the one who said it. Steven loved Claudia into a point. He really did. And it wotked too for a while, but when Luke turned up, Steven became confused again...... Luke should had stayed away when he heard that Steven was married.

This scene gave us gay people sooo much joy because Steven had been with SJ and then Kooky C for so many seasons. Used to go to a gay bar to watch on Dynasty Nite back then, and the whole crowd cheered when Luke fixed the tie! Sadly Luke died later that year from a mysterious medical ailment or something like that....don't think ole Steven ever touched another woman after Luke touched his tie!

Wow, Billy Campbell (Luke) was very good-looking. Steven was a fool to be hostile toward him. I would have told Claudia, "Claudia, not now!! I'm going out for lunch with Luke." - LOL I did love Pamela Bellwood as "Claudia". Claudia was a likable character that brought humility to the show. I'm not so sure she died in that hotel fire.

Jonathan Washington - Yes, Dominique’s useless daughter conveniently stopped in a hallway to somehow see Claudia being burned to death. I guess Claudia ran over to the door, opened it, then ran back and froze in place with that pitiful look on her face while the fire she caused consumed her and the entire hotel. One candle fell over and the place went up in flames. The following day, La Mirage was gone, Claudia was roasted and Amanda had a new face. I guess smoke damage caused Amanda’s face to change and her English accent to change to an American one.

Steven was just rude to a newly encountered Luke...and then gets an offer for lunch? Gosh, the writing on this show stank sometimes. They should have shown some kind of reaction to Luke's good looks; something to set off his gaydar prompting the invitation.

Luke already knew everything about Steven even that he was gay, everyone knew even Steven's wife. So it's not that weird that he wanted to know Steven personally, also Luke knew Steven was stressed so he didn't take offence by him being alittle rude. I don't think this scene was bad at all.

Not to criticize the character of Luke but why do gay men always have to portrayed as upfront with there flirting? What happened to subtlety and nuance. Taking Steven out for drinks or dinner or lunch. Something classier then this.
