I am currently an undergraduate (close to graduating) majoring in physics. I hope to use this degree to carry-on to graduate school and focus on green physics and renewable energy. I can only imagine what breakthroughs in physics will help us generate energy in the future and I look forward to being a part of it.

"We came all the way to explore the moon and all we found is earth." So simple yet powerful and at the same time a bit saddening. Look what have we done to the place we called home.

The Benz Motorwagen from 1885 used a gasoline engine, as Diesel had not perfected his self-ignition combustion engine yet. First the diesel engine was introduced in stationary appliances, then in ships and then in trucks. The first diesel engines for passenger cars were introduced in the late 1930s. Power-to-Gas-conversion is not something completely new, it is only costly, as the learning curve effect just have started: Power-to-gas und power-to-fuel: Technological development and systemic effects | 2018-06-29 www.strommarkttreffen.org/vergangene-treffen/
