maybe firing pattern with this technique can be combined with other methods to strengthen interpretation? like combining it with fMRI (that tells us about blood flow, and glucose consumption) to get information about energy supply

on managing the volume of data, maybe we can infuse the voltage trackers region by region instead of the entire brain at once? it will take far longer to get the whole picture though

on the problem of the brain being opaque, can't we use glowing membrane proteins that emit a different frequency? one that can penetrate the human brain. I imagine it like the protein analog of NMR experiments where photons emitted by magnetically excited nuclei are in the micro/radiowave range, passing through matter just fine and can be detected

I Hoped this would be about visualization/ imagination as a skill of humans. This is graphic explanations about brain activity.

It sure is! Ain't it wonderful! We need more stuff like this. So what if he looks 'endearing' - he's a good speaker and explains it really well. I'm glad I found this. Fascinating and thank you Adam Cohen. now check out this gem. MRI scans, from NIHOD kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJDJlaOqfdKjn9E
