My Dad was the best! A big teddy bear i remember laying my head on his chest he was so good a good man of God and i see now how his hugs were God saying i got you💕✝️🙌🏻. i miss him so much i would love to hold his hand one more time( big warm soft) and feel his security i know i will see him one Day i just miss him 😢

My dad's dad passed when he was 19. he met my mom when he was 21, married her 2 years later, had my older brother who is autistic, and then me 3 years later. My dad has been a mechanic since he was 19, and has worked hard every single day of his life in order for me to be sitting in my college apartment right now. I love him so much that words couldn't describe just how much.

Wow! My Dad was not a believer and was not always a good man to some but he spoiled me and became a better man in his later years. I believe that he and God had a thief on the cross moment and that I'll see him again!

My dad died of cancer in 2008. I remember going to visit my parents on Sundays and sitting there listening to my dad tell the same stories again and again, and think to myself, I've heard these stories a hundred times. Now I'd give anything to be able to sit and hear those stories just one more time. But one day I will.

I lost my dad a couple years ago. We didn't see eye to eye when I was a kid. The older I got, the more we did. Now that he's gone I realize I didn't get enough of him. I wish I could have one more conversation with him.

Well, I’m now a legit atheist who grew up on Christian music, incl SCC. Came here for nostalgia... And even though I’m the black sheep of the fam (despite being the most highly educated) my dad is still there for me, loves me no matter what. He’s getting on in years and I sobbed at the thought of losing him. This song IS my dad. ❤️
