You said it. It doesn't feel right to here "brian wilson" without eds "late night record shop". BNL still awesome but you can just here something missing. What ever the issue was, it's not worth not being a part of the best band there is (in my opinion).

Steven I have PTSD. The BNL have been a big part of my listening recovery. I have so much to say, but will keep it short You guys and you especially have given me something to love. Your music lifts me, inspires and outright keeps me happy. I would love to share my story and military experience with you but not on this post. Anyhow thanks for everything and keep it going. To me your were the voice of BNL Proof in the pudding, after you left the band they never charted again in the US. I just watched the documentary on Cream and Eric Clapton thought their success was the combination of the three's individual talents blended to a higher plane of music that connected with everyone. The list of songs as a group that BNL produced pre Steven leaving and post would support the same environment musically

Best of luck to BNL and no hard feelings but I always thought Steven Page was not only the soul of the band - who are all very talented musicians - but Page was the unique songwriter, singer and wordsmith that made the band special, idiosyncratic, and quirky. Not to mention that his voice is... just beautiful with a tinge of soul. I could listen to it all day. Steven Page has his demons, like I did, and I hope him well... and I get why he struck out on his own. Shit, calling yourself, "Bare Naked Ladies" is quirky and will get you noticed in your twenties back in the early 90s but, gatdamn... trying to pull that off when you are fifty and have a family?... cripes... I dunno even what to say.
