When you consider someone like Steven Pinker of all people unable to be rational and as unbiased as humanly possible (we are all biased to some degree) you might be the problem. I suggest reading some of his books, watching some of his public lectures, listening to some of his podcasts and avoiding social media and "alternative media" for a while.
