Parade's End brought me here ... and his brilliant performance as Colonel Bill Williams. He steals every scene he's in! I rewound the DVD about five times to savor the scene in which he relinquishes his command. I had no idea who he was before I saw him in Parade's End. Wow! Fantastic! Bravo!

True North is a terrific movie. And Steven Robertson doing a great job as the cook. His eyes really can "talk" :)

There was a lot of pathos in the last series of Shetland when his character had been suspended. We don't see enough of him.

I was just thinking that! :D I could imagine him wearing a maroon blazer, a black shirt and a red tie.

***** Thanks man! I'm glad you agree. I'm imagining his potential Doctor having a penchant for Chuppa Chups and yo-yo's! Would this be a bit too silly? Also, I think he should use the English accent that he used for his character in The Bletchley Circle.

Pantz A Scottish sounding Doctor is long overdue!

Pantz DW has always been silly xD Yeah he used his English accent in Being Human as well and it sounds fantastic. I had no idea he was Scottish until I saw this video! I also really like to see Colin Salmon and Damien Molony play The Doctor at some point.
