I just love that you got all the references. One extra thing: the whole moon-scene with Kubrick probably a reference that conspiracy-theorist accusing him "filming" the moon-landing.

Of course anything for John Locke from lost. Thank you for the extra information I didn’t know that.

@@YouLoveSkyler a common saying is that they got him to fake the moon landing, but in typical Kubrick fashion he recorded it on the moon to make it look better

So glad you paused quickly enough at the end of Kubrik’s verse (both times!) to avoided spoiling Michael Bay’s entrance for yourself - even if you did guess it coming! Another great reaction dude 👍
@YouLoveSkyler4 жыл бұрын
Luckily, erb tends to finish their characters verses with the big shot bar. So, i tend to stop there naturally.
My aunt worked with Spielberg for many years, I just wanted to say that I found this video and it made me cry. She did animation an WB with him during the Animaniacs time. She worked with Spielberg and Rusty Mills. Thank you for this video

I'm not eloquent enough to describe the styles, but this is very much evolution of directoral style over the ages as a battle.

Hitchcock apparently took a million dollars for doing voiceover work for the Jaws ride and it made him feel like a sellout. He said he couldn't meet with Speilberg because he felt like "a whore" just looking at the "boy who made the fish movie"
@bertieblack56393 жыл бұрын
Gotta say, Michael Bay won this, because he pointed out the most obvious fact - the directing game really is all about money, and he really rode that to the win XD but yeah, for flow it's Hitchcock or Tarantino XD
@txaggievet4 жыл бұрын
127 Times was how many times he made Shelly Duvall redo a scene in the shining... it caused her to go into hysterics.... and that was what he wanted for the movie... you know it almost drove her literally insane and she lost clumps of hair.. but he got the response he wanted.

One of my favourites stylistically, while he's def not the best director I just can't help but smile when Bay literally explodes into the battle and smashes it. Shame in a way nine if them get a chance to rebut but otherwise think Tarantino takes it. The Philosophers would have a field day debating this one..just saying.. 😉
@WafleEnterprises4 жыл бұрын
I give the rap battle to Michael Bay; personally, I think he’s an ok director he gets along with everyone and I’d say he probably makes the most consistently good CASUAL movies for entertainment, he uses literally every cliche but it works for like 3/4 of viewers. As for the actual best director in general out of these men... I’d give it to Spielberg as a whole, I think he’s the best well rounded one. Kubric is the best at making the most artistically stellar movies, Tarantino knows how to make the nitty gritty movies feel real and intense, Hitchcock is the one who laid the groundwork for establishing and capitalizing on suspense, but they all excel in just 1-2 types of movies while Spielberg has done pretty much them all
