I think it would be cool for something like Lars being brainwashed by White would make things be even more interesting, and perhaps he could have made a deal with Emerald, that if he went with her, she would have to let the others go, so they would be on Earth and tell the 3 remaining gems Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot about all this, now that would be something that could give some spark to the new arc, but that's just my opinion

"Lars" continued to stare while still holding that terrifyingly wide smile at Steven . Steven continued to back away slowly covering his mouth with tears flowing down his face. "What did you do" Steven whispered quietly not thinking rationally. Steven had forgotten White diamond was in the room and jumped when he heard her scarily sweet voice. "Oh Starlight... Do you not like your gift?" She asked with a daunting smile on face. "If you want I can rid you of the human if it gives you this much trouble" Steven stopped backing away from "Lars" realizing what White diamond meant. If Steven didn't want Lars the tyrant ruler would kill his friend. "N-NO" Steven hadn't meant to shout so he lowered his voice. "please I am very grateful for your gift" "He really r-reminds me of ho- the Earth" Steven had almost said home, but he was sure White diamond wouldn't be very appreciative of that. "Oh I knew you would love it Starlight" White diamond looked at her pearl. "Take Pink and her human back to her room please" "Of course my diamond" The pearl did as asked and safely took Steven and "Lars" back to Pink Diamond's room. Steven couldn't look at "Lars" once they had gotten back to the room. "Lars" was smiling eerily, it just wasn't natural. Steven hated this, he wanted the real Lars back. However it was to late for that.

I’m 22 y/o and that last frame scared me like I used to get scared watching the Secret of Nim late at night. My stomach twisted into that fear knot I thought I hate lost and forgotten about completely. Great job. You always have a way of capturing the characters, even minor ones, just perfectly!
