Well Pink, or better “Rose”, was thought to be the good one for most of the show. She was the savior for gems, the exception. But then we find out that she was the one that started everything. She shattering of Pink Diamond that brought the hunt for the Crystal Gems and the Gem War? It was Rose, she started it all. All of the Crystal Gems were manipulated , besides Pearl(still a little, but on a smaller scale), into fighting for the right cause, but it was all unnecessary. Gems died just because she didn’t feel like doing her job as a Diamond and others were stuck suffering as prisoners like Lapis. The other Diamonds however were just sticking true to how they rule. Yes, their way of ruling was disgusting, but they didn’t sugar-coat things. If you were going to be shattered, they told you that you were going to be shattered. Also, not excusing it, but their way of ruling could’ve been like that because of the built up grief of Pink’s “shattering” and the constant aggravation of trying to find the Crystal Gems, trying to find Rose, the one who was thought to have shattered her. Unlike them, Pink told Spinel they were “playing a game” and left her there for 6000 years, and only because of Steven, she finally left the garden. Pink was manipulative to almost everyone she knew. Maybe some of the advice she gave was actually to help people, sure, but it doesn’t make up for all the things she did in the past. I honestly think Pink is way worse than the other Diamonds. At least they’re there to fix their mistakes instead of having their son do it for them. (Also if there are a bunch of typos, I’m typing on my tiny-ass phone and it’s really hard :/)

Pearl: Lost the gem she was closet and most loyal to, the love of her life after centuries of built up history and chemistry between them and enduring war together. -Spinel lost the gem she felt closest and most loyal to after centuries of built up history between them. She's sort of like a mini mashup of both their experiences, granted those two probably had the worst experiences in the show, Ergo, no wonder Spinel must've lost it.
