When Jasper holds up the two corrupted gemstones, it's presumed that she's taunting "Rose Quartz" and that these Gems were once important Crystal Gems. In Crack the Whip, this might have been Amethyst's first fight with a peer opponent--she's only tangled with corrupted Gems and Lapis's water clones before. The fact that Stevonnie was formed essentially just by Steven and Connie grabbing hands shows how fusion can come practically spontaneously when the members are strongly focused together on task; no dancing is necessary.

I think her entrie clothes are changed as well tho. Her pants was purple with black star and white shoes then it's black pants with purple star and grey-ish(?) shoes

Amethyst's form was supposed to be similar to Jasper's, but her gem stayed in the ground too long which caused a "defect". We saw in previous episodes where having a larger form, even as a joke, caused serious issues with how well she could function long-term - that's why her usual form has to be the way it is. Peridot's still getting situated at the farm with Lapis, they have no idea any of this is going on. Also it wouldn't be much of a fight or a story if Lapis showed up & just crushed Jasper with the ocean instantly, this episode was more about fleshing out Amethyst's character arc.
