regarding craig blundell's reactions to social media. with all due respect to ALL the great drummers steven has worked with, gavin is a personal fave, and when i listen to the others i always notice something missing (for ME, just my opinion) EXCEPT for when craig is playing! craig is one of the very best out there, and seems like a really good guy. craig, you're AWESOME man...

I sat in the front row of a show on the Hand.Cannot.Erase tour in San Francisco, his best album (IMHO) and best concert I have ever been to. Unfortunately I am not a very emotive person. I kind of just like to sit there and get lost in the music, focus on the different musicians and how they play, how they present themselves to the audience. While in my mind my thoughts are going a mile a minute, I will clap, but not much else, so I can see how it could look like I am not having a good time. At the concert he even mentioned not liking the set seating arrangement because he wanted to see people standing and getting into the music. My first thought was that I am the nightmare fan for him, because I give nothing back to the artist outwardly.

I was hoping he'd give a little shout out to Anathema - an incredible "post progressive" band from Liverpool that he has done some mixing work for. 👌🌞

So sincere. No flares. Not to much frills. Addressed the criticism without really complaining. That "...after Opeth nothing was enough..." confession was kinda gangster. The sorta refusel to accept the prog crown was mix feelings but i perfectly understand not wanting to be put in a box. One blind spot of this whole pop-music-is-equally-good approach is....there's lots and lots of really bad cheesy poorly made pop music over several decades. It would be great if people had Phill Collins solo carreer pop quality. Anyways. Music genius at such a tender age...just married. Jesus! Why put apperances for the folks next door? Well....it may serve him as an inspiration for an country music album in the next decade.

By the sounds of the new album , the Donna Summer DNA is becoming the dominant .
@swsimpson1604 Жыл бұрын
That's amazing. Gene Simmons would be surprised just how much of an influence Donna Summer had been even in Rock. And, she could Rock herself.
