Prog is not about the most complex time signatures, or about the number of notes played. It's about taking music to another levels, emotionally, not just technically. Some bands could learn a thing or two from SW.

I just got so triggered that i dont even know what to say XD no hate. First of all DT is a progressive METAL band, second have you even heard songs like ''the best of times'', ''hollow years'', ''through her eyes'', ''the spirit carries on''? I think prog can be everything that there is. It can be smooth, heavy, fast, emotional. Thats what porg is all about.

This was his last song for one of his concerts i attended. Someone shouted out while he was singing the first verse- we love you steven .. he was pissed and signaled to the audience to shut up.. It was amazing ... the best part was that there were no idiots holding up their cellphones to take pics/vids. A SW concert is a surreal experience. The sound, music, lights, visuals - everything harmonizes to take you on a spiritual journey.

+Eric I feel that 'The Raven That Refused To Sing' is easily the best and most complete work he's ever released. I can only hope that a future release tops the creative spirit and open-ended writing that was displayed on that concept piece. The subject matter is beautiful, endemic feeling and treated with reverence. Something that cannot be said for the dependant and Looming nature of Hand Cannot Erase. I felt as though even 'Storm Corrosion' had more of a directed sense of style than HCE did; HCE feels more like a collection of songs in a specific yet generalised theme, than a telling of a story in any sense of linearity or composure. Great songs that can stand tall alone but not a great piece of work that is the sum of all of its parts when listened start to end.

Had the pleaure of attending this concert in Neu-Isenburg. Probably the best I have seen. Some years later, Steven came to the "Alte Oper" in Frankfurt (with Hands cannot erase), and made some remarks about how upscale the venue was. Compared to the later concerts, this line-up in 2013 was better (simply love Marco). There were loudspeakers also in the back of the hall, sometimes used for quadrophonic sounds. Check out some of the other songs he played on Neu-Isenburg - simply superb!
