That moment when Steven starts the main melody shred on his guitar and a dude in the audience can’t help but feel overwhelmed and raises his fists in the air. I felt the same way watching this through my phone. Only Steven Wilson’s music can make you feel that.

I've only recently discovered Steven and his music. I'm only in the beginning stages of exploring his catalog as a solo artist as well as Porcupine Tree. Since I found them a couple of weeks ago, I haven't stopped. He's truly an artist. I can't believe at 57 years old, I had never heard him or them before. I feel like I've been living under a rock or something. So far for me, he is the melody king. He writes some of the most beautiful melodies I've heard in a long time.

Porcupine Tree's songs are very much Prog-Metal mix with powerful riffs and incredible chord progressions. While SW solo albums are extremely meloncholic, subdues and highly evocative. Steven is one of my favourite performers, and it's because of this song! A master at work here.

This song is so dark and intense that i love it. I purchased the blu ray when i was in Berlin, in November.

Saw this tour in Milwaukee a few months after this recording was made. One of the best concerts I have ever seen and I have seen a lot. It is easy to turn up the distortion and blow away your audience with a rock classic but to touch a crowd with a song like this takes true skill, musicianship, and passion. Forever grateful to SW and his band on this tour. If you do not have this Blu-ray in your collection, buy it now.

When the world bends around, when the structures of a civilization falter, it is good to return to that which in history does not flex, but on the contrary recovers courage, gathers the separated, pacifies without bruising. It’s worth recalling that the genius of creation is also moving in an history devoted to the destruction
