This is already a great series and with so many stations in Britain I hope to see so much more. Thank You for sharing wonderful information and history!

Some of Great Northern trains travelling from Cambridge, Cambridge North, Ely & King’s Lynn also sometime stop at Stevenage. And a new bay terminus platform is also to be built for Great Northern trains to/from Moorgate via Hertford North to terminate at Stevenage. Which are the Class 717.

The new platform 5 is my favourite as you can see a train coming from Moorgate terminating at Stevenage since platform 5 was built to relieve the bottleneck on the ECML and Hertford Loop line. And Class 717s now operates on.

Don't forget the new platform being built at Stevenage. This is for trains on the Hertford Loop and will take those trains away from the main lines.

How can you mention Newark North Gate and not Darlington or Doncaster? Two of the most pioneering railway towns that there has ever been and not a mention!!

John Wyldbore I think the idea was that he was listing stations that LNER services serving Stevenage originate from. Granted would still be wrong as the Newark North Gate trains now start at Lincoln Central.
