Small nuggets from; Steven Dux Part 4 - "Trading Technique DVD" 🚀First, you need to observe the market. 🚀You need to figure out one specific pattern. 🚀Now, you are going into details and pick out all the useless stuff. Only focus on what kind of criteria gives you the highest winning percentage. 🚀Then you go ahead and focus on that pattern. Grow your account because that is the process of growing all types of accounts backed up by statistics. Thanks, for reading.

- Tracking data can help with: Cutting losses too late or taking rewards way too early. - Put billionaire stock and small cap in different categories, otherwise tracking doesn’t really work. - $3k-30,000: only track 1 pattern first - Fomo: you miss a trade, you want to make your trade money back assume you already made money on the first trade. Since you miss that profit, you increase your size on the next trade to be able to make more profits. You think the market owes you money. This is a bad mentality. Go back to basics and start tracking statistics in different ways. (frequency of pattern, average reward = simulated gain per year) - Focus on process, not results. - If you size too big, every single movement will make you really emotional. You will watch each and every tick. But every movement for him is part of the pattern because he’s thinking rationally.

This video is really helpful because it dives a bit deeper than just to tell you to stick to your plan. If you KNOW YOUR STRATEGY, and track the frequency of its occurrence, this would help you to be more patient as you have a rough idea of how often you can make money. If you do your research and find the pattern you want to trade occur say 10 times a month in average, you would have the patience to trade it once it shows up and stop the fomo all together.

I'm not Steven but depends on your trading preference. I always recommend trading because there's less risk involved and more basic but options has a higher risk reward ratio. Hey Steven I got a question. When you said 100 entries/pattern does that mean that someone must put actual money on the line and enter 100 different positions or can you just track the statistics of 100 different positions that could have been entered? (I don't know if maybe having money on the line is part of tracking statistics... hope this is not a dumb question).

It applies to options as well. Options are basically just a different side of equity trading but with much larger leverage(which is why your friend keeps blowing up his account). You should tell your friend to 1) start tracking pattern statistics, 2) set take profit and cut loss percentages and 3) keep risk underneath 10%.
