The band reunited just after Tom found out about his illness..he was the one who initiated the reunion! Kinda like he wanted to share the stage with his brothers one last time 😢 To think that most of the boys weren't even on talking terms before the reunion and a "reunion" especially with the 5 of them wasn't even in consideration and now because of Tom they have reunited and are close more than ever! He had always been the most devastated member about the break up in the first place, he loved his band and he was the spine of the group! RIP Tom, I'm sure your brothers and fans will cherish your moments forever ❤️

I had no idea they weren't on talking terms. I've read somewhere that they all planned to reunite in 2020 for their 10th anniversary but after Tom's diagnosis it obviously did not happen. Is that not true?

@@vanesap2368 idk about that..all I know that only Jay was on good terms with all of them...the rest had their one on one issues with each other especially Siva and Nathan, they didn't even attend Tom's wedding!!! and when Max was asked in 2020 about a reunion he was thinking of only him, Tom and Jay because the other 2 didn't want any part of it!! Everytime Nathan was asked about the band, he deflected and Siva just wasn't friends with them (except Jay) anymore

@@habibaamr6968 Wow, I did not know about all that. But knowing all this just proves how much they loved Tom, I bet they did not even hesitate when they were asked to do this. And as you said, they now seem closer than ever and it's good they have each other, and that whatever happened between them is now in the past and they can be there for each other.

The news about Tom's passing hit me harder than I thought it would. I really enjoyed this band, since I first discovered them in 2012, I always came back to their music. I was pretty sad when they went on a hiatus, but I'm so glad Tom got to do what he loved once more, he got to perform live, release an album, and also make his fans' dreams come true with getting the band together. Tom has done so much in the last 18 months. My heart breaks for his wife and his two babies, as well as for the TW boys, you can tell they loved and cared for him so much. I'm glad he had all of them by his side when he passed, they truly were a band of brothers. May he rest in paradise, it's so cruel he was taken so soon.

Tom's passing hit me way harder than I thought it would... I've been a big fan since I was 12, The Wanted was my escape and when times weren't easy. It was incredibly bittersweet to see the band come back together after 7 years for Tom's sake. He passed doing what he loved, with his favorite people at his side. While it's been really hard for us fans to cope with his passing, it's also brought many people together and created an even more united and beautiful community that will forever cherish the memories and music. We love you Tommy

I flew out to London for the concert. I bought a ticket less than two weeks before the show and planned an entire trip to London to see them reunite and it's something I will always remember. I sat in my seat full-on sobbing during Gold Forever.

I’m crying watching this again. It’s been so hard to listen to and watch videos of them, especially this performance because it was their first one back together. I’m so proud of him for getting them all back together and giving himself, the boys, and the fans so much happiness in such a hard time in his life. He really did all of this for us and the guys because he knew what was going to inevitably happen. He was so selfless until the end. I love this man so so much. Ok, I've been putting off watching this because Tom's death has affected the fanmily massively (Fanmily is the given fan name) I'm now at a point where I can see Tom's face and actually smile instead of breaking down. Firstly, thank you for being respectful of us decade long fans and not putting put the video until now. Mad respect to you. Your video was on my home page because I've searched everything The Wanted and Tom related over the last 5 weeks. I'll answer/respond to a few of your comments.... The set design was changed last minute because Tom lost the ability to use his left arm and leg. Tom decided to put on the show (It was over an hour long with quite a few other artists) as brain tumours get only 1% of funding for research yet it's the biggest killer in under 40's in the UK at least. This show was to raise the profile of Glioblastoma Multiforme 4, which is what he had. He wasn't given a prognosis because he didn't want to know but typically, it's 12-18 months. He had 30 rounds of Chemo and Radiotherapy, plus private care with trial treatments. However, he was given a terminal diagnosis. He was never going to survive it. If you haven't seen the documentary "Inside my head" you must. It's heart-breaking and heart-warming all at the same time. Being on stage was Tom's happy place. He was clearly very sick on the last 3 or 4 dates of the arena tour, yet he wanted nothing more than to be on that stage with his brothers. They brought him out on a throne, like the king that he was. Kelsey (His wife) did an interview at the weekend where she said he went downhill from the day after the last tour date. He did what he set out to do, that was to finish the tour, then his body needed rest and he passed away just under 2 weeks later. Gold Forever was played at Tom's memorial and then re-released as a stripped back version to raise funds for The Brain Appeal charity. Tom singing the lines; "Say my name, like it's the last time. Live today like it's the last night" - can you imagine what the fanmily/family/The Wanted boys feel when hearing him sing those words? It cuts deep. Jay, the one who said "You've shown us how you can stand up to cancer" moved in with Kelsey so that he could look after Tom's 2 little ones whilst Kelsey was at the hospice with Tom. Max, the bald one, was Tom's best friend. We called them Tomax. Obviously they were all close but those 2 were brothers from the beginning. The day that Tom passed away, Kelsey was cuddled up in bed with him and she told him that her and the kids would be fine. That she would teach them everything Tom had taught her over the 13 years they had been together. With that, he replied that he knew she would be ok. He took off his wedding band and placed it on her finger. Kelsey said that whilst it was only those 2 in the room when he passed away, the room was full of so much love. Kelsey had asked Tom to make it known that he was around her once he had passed and he said he would. She was sitting outside after he died and a white feather fluttered down from the heavens. They say white feathers are a sign that your loved ones are near. A few days later, a white feather landed on his daughter Aurelia. If you want to read the interview, I'll be more than happy to send it to you. I was fortunate to have been at that event... It was even more emotional than the video shows. The tears were ridiculous. Finally, The Wanted are EXCEPTIONAL live. I much prefer to listen to their live shows than a CD. I can't say that for any other band in history. Tom's voice will be sorely missed from their music going forward. His harmony was so distinctive. You've got a sub from me. I'll watch your other "The Wanted" videos :)

I love that you've done some reactions to The Wanted, they're so talented but get kind of passed over because they were around predominantly before the whole KZbin reaction thing! The news about Tom is so sad, they're my favourite band, I grew up with them, and they've always been so close with their fans, and active in vlogging their journey, that they felt like friends, so it feels like I've lost one! I saw them on their arena tour in March, and he passed less than 3 weeks after I saw them, and less than 2 weeks after the last show but I think he needed to do the tour for himself, he could only sit on stage for one or two songs, but the love shown to him whilst he was on stage was crazy! It's also a testament to how talented they are that they did most the show as a 4, but nothing lacked vocally in any of the songs, they still sounded full and strong even with a voice sadly missing.

Tom set up the stand up to cancer to help others as there's no cure . The boys were getting back in 2020 but things got in the way . Tom and Max were and are best mates from the start . Max and Nathan wanted to have a break to try other things the other 3 didn't want . But they got back together Tom did loads before passing to help others and I'm so glad the wanted brothers are gonna be in Tom's kids life with their up bringing . I've not known any body with cancer to have that strength till the end going out his way to help others and to make sure kelsey and the kids were set up and looked after he's amazing rip Tom even though your singing your heart out up there the vlogs wont be the same without you ❤❤

Thank you so much for making this video. For someone who has loved the wanted since I was 11 seeing people talk about them especially during the darkest moments feels so incredible. You posted this right as I was thinking about Tom since it's been a month today since his passing. Watching this performance again and seeing the love the have for each other is so heartwarming and seeing it with you makes it better. If you like covers, The Wanted did some amazing acoustic ones beside Iris. They did East 17's "Stay Another Day" last Christmas and it's beautiful, amazing harmonies!!! As for Oldies their Cheryl Cole cover of "Fight for This Love" on the First Break Show in 2010 is also great. Also their Ne-Yo "Let me love you" cover from the Sun Sessions 2012 and their cover of The Script's "For the first Time" at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge 2010 (Halloween) are also very unique and amazing.

In the UK there is 3 nation wide Charity events, Stand Up To Cancer, Comic Relief and Children In Need, they are held every year, people do all sort of things to raise money, there is usually One TV programme which takes up the whole evening, each individual charity gets around 45 million pounds raised for it, when you think we have a population of about 65 million people that is an amazing amount of money donated, The British are very generous when it comes to charity, thought I would give you a little background to make it clearer to you, although this was organised by The Wanted it was donating to the Cancer Charity, plenty of vids on here covering these events, 1D did One Way Or Another (Blondie cover) for Comic Relief, Comic relief is the only one that donates to causes World wide, SUTC and CIN raise donations for the UK.

This was Tom's show to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer. McFly, Ed Sheeran, Sigrid and Liam Payne from 1D were among the other acts that performed that night. I was lucky enough to be there and like you said the audience were so loud! It was their first performance together as a band in 7 1/2 years, so this was a special moment for us fans. You can tell that being in this band means so much to him, to all of them. It was truly a honour to be there.

That performance over-emphacizes Nathan (which was ok for his return) and I actually love that for Steven it's all about The Wanted with appreciation for all of them and it's not Nathan and the boys. I actually don't like "I Found You" because it's Nathan and the boys and not really The Wanted. All Time Low, Glad you came, Lightning and Warzone do a much better job of showcasing all the boys.
