New ones can be soldered in if you’re ok with a soldering iron and need to get the unit functional again. Another big problem with many HVAC ECM based systems is that they typically generate RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) which the HVAC industry is pretty clueless about. Some HVAC manufacturers have RFI suppression kits but most HVAC installers have no idea what RFI is or how to remediate it. Going back to a non ECM motor (traditional single speed motor) is a great solution for elimination of RFI if other methods don't work (filtering, etc.).
