She's got a lot of trapped air. Kind of like my best friend after a night of Taco Bell.

Fascinating seeing stuff from across the Pond, amazing amount of space you have to work with!, most of the Boilers here in the UK are stuck in a small cupboard or Kitchen Cabinet. Hope you & Miss Molly are well & staying away from the Kung Flu👍👍👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

My third floor is pain to purge the air out. Air lock just takes for ever to clear. Sometimes I just raise the pressure to just before the boiler pressure valve pops. Good video

I bought a bleeder key the other day, and I'm bleeding the baseboards. Nothing more satisfying than a 7/32" key to get all the air out of the lines.

Getting cold here in the northeast. Boilers running tonight in my own house. True test is next week. Cold nights ahead. The heating calls will be coming!

Steve, you are cited in the urban dictionary as the only person to use “gundy” in the context of give it something extra. They claim it is used by all others in the Australian manner: Australian slang. A story that is highly exaggerated or blatantly untrue. I personally like the way you use it better.

hey Steve have you ever thought about using quarter turn boiler drains instead of regular globe style boiler drains? You do great work and I've learned a ton from your videos, especially on boilers. I hope that I don't come off as a "know it all super tech" but have you ever used any quarter turn boiler drains on your jobs. At the company I work at, we use them a bunch because they don't wear out and start leaking as often. do you have a reason for using the regular globe valve style boiler drains or is it just an old habit of yours?

I have been searching for answers about my heating system and still nothing. My system clearly has 6 zones but only one valve coming from the radiator. I don't see how I can drain one zone at a time. The boiler is making a loud banging sound every time I turn the heat on.

Hi Steve, After purging do you top up the inhibitor (anti corrosion ) like we do here in the UK? Thanks for your vids - so good!

Does that system not have an air scoop on it? With a bleeder above and expansion tank below?
