We need more honest plumbers like Steve. We need more plumbers, period. People like Steve STAY busy because they are honest. Language doesn't matter, the kids couldn't hear him.

I love watching your videos.. I am a do it yourselfer and will do just about any job, did even my hot water heater and pellet stove , but I would never touch my oil furnace except to change the air filter (to much of a risk if I screw it up), but I love to see you work on oil and gas furnaces to just see how the work, it is amazing ....

It is not a hot water heater. If the water is hot it doesn't need to be heated.

He saw enough to replace the gas valve and clean the flame sensor.
@JaredHeatherington18 күн бұрын
@@mph5896are you really sure about that? Because he didn’t even have time to check voltage before the meter turned on the valve. Considering this guys been doing this over 40 years and isn’t afraid to say how it is. You’ll just end up changing something that might be good lol
@mph589618 күн бұрын
@@JaredHeatherington I feel so. Placing pressure on the meter connections shifted the internal pins on the gas valve.
@topher863418 күн бұрын
I wouldn't have replaced it either. I would have wanted to see the 24 volts at the valve and it not opening. Been there done the guess and check and the assumptions and been bit in the a** more than once. Intermittent problems are a PITA, especially when you can't duplicate it.
@JaredHeatherington18 күн бұрын
@@mph5896 you feel isn’t a sure answer man as much as I know ur trying. You need a definite answer with proof or you are truly a parts changer

@johnkosick146417 күн бұрын
When you deal with "intermittent", you have to take the connectors off and inspect them for loose wires or bad connections. It's also a good idea to buy spare parts like a new gas valve, because it it fails, it will be on the coldest day of the year...Just a thought...
