Do you have experience with IBZ-6 pickups? I can't find out what sounds better: IBZ-6 or this Classic Elite pickups...

they are stock pickups in the same range of GRGs models so don't expect night and day. To my experience the Classic Elite are more warm, more rounded, more like a PAF so you got more versatility in the end. The Ibz 6 are more punchy, they are passive but Ibanez is trying to recreate something like an EMG so they are more straight to the point. So it depends a lot on what you're going to play with them. I prefer the Classic Elite.

Ciao my friend! I want to ask you something. And pardon my ignorance people. But is this a good guitar for beginners? Specially if you want to play a vary of genres only for fun. I always thought these guitars are more oriented to Heavy Riff which I love by the way, but if you want to play a little blues or something more jazzy, this would be a good choice? Again, pardon my lack of knowledge about this subject but I'm here for it, right? To learn about it. Thanks for your effort in putting these videos for us. See ya! Ciao amico! Imo those pickups are very versatile, they take inspiration from PAFs pickups and with the 5 way switch you can really achieve a variety of tones. So I'm pretty sure you can sound pretty decent in a Blues/Jazzy situation. Of course we can't pretend that it sounds like a Gibson Hollow Body but considering you will use it for the majority of the time in an high gain setting and only sometimes in less gain situations, for the price you'll get a nice versatile axe.
