It depends by your body shape, your style of playing and your feeling about the two models (by the way I referring to the classic Gibson models with 22 frets, 305mm of radius and so on). To me the Sg shape is more comfortable to play because the neck is in a higher position when you put the guitar on your leg, but with the Lp (that normally weights more than a Sg) I'm more inspired to play something heavier cause it tends to sounds bigger and fuller so in the end there's no better option but if you ask me to choose one to bring on a desert island I take the Les Paul
