Thank you! The experience from being there for a week + the Cantare definitely helped!

@@KTCanoe Awesome! Looking forward to visiting The Gorge next year. The Cantare seemed to catch the swells effortlessly. No wonder why OC1 paddling is on the rise. Paddle on 😊

@@josuedelucca7252 definitely try to make it out next year! Of the 3 boats I had the opportunity to paddle (Kahele, Cantare, Volare), it was easiest in the Cantare for me to catch waves of any size. I could catch small-medium waves just as easily in the Kahele, but it was harder to stay on them. It is much easier to stay on them in the Cantare, at least for someone of my stature. Volare was challenging for me (and even my fiancé and guy friends) to get benefit on small waves and it took a lot of strength to get on any wave. Volare would definitely take some time for them to adjust to. Ultimately, the dudes preferred the Kahele. This was also a year where there was one afternoon of bigger stuff, so maybe if there was bigger stuff the whole week, they would have liked the Volare more? But who knows.
