You need to work with a local charity or church group that helps people who are starting their lives over and have nothing. Bedding, towels, pillows, curtain rods and curtains and other household items could certainly be used and needed. Just a thought.

Virginia is tricky we are not a state we are a commonwealth state. That means we have to obey state and federal laws but the cities can also make up their own laws. So it’s legal state wide. Some cities have made it illegal. And some you have to get a permit and most are perfectly legal. But check your local laws to be sure.

Hello on my hubbys account - we were on our way to tn dec 28 for 6 days to celebrate our 25th anniversary and stopped at a Cracker Barrel - the lady in the store was taking all the Christmas cards out and ripping them all in half. In front of everyone , I did ask she said they were not eligible for the discount as other cmas stuff but they weren’t free either such a waste. If they don’t want the stuff or donate. It’s so dumb to destroy it if someone can use have a good day. I agree with your statement

When things are on sale & you don't want to waste gas driving to the store many times, it is frugal to stock up. And with the unavailability of a lot of items, what does a person do if they don't plan ahead. Many people can their own foods and it that's hoarding (having lots of jars from your garden to last you over the winter and to the next crop), then I'm sorry for you. Many times companies stop making certain items and once your item wears out or breaks, you can't find it anymore, so why not stock up?

Use 100 percent acetone polish remover it'll take it off better than anything and use it on fabric as it won't bleach just suck it right back up after the paint loosens with a carpet cleaner vacuum

Weighted blankets have a removable shell so you can wash them. Be prepared, I got one and I feel better, but I struggle to get my feet out!

My neighborhood people threw out 2 huge tupperware bins with lids. I grabbed them to use the bins. They were so heavy. Was gonna toss contents in my trash and keep the bins...it was all tools...tons and and tons of saws, axes, old power tools, hammer ..was mental that no one would donate them

We need to call these companies out on social media more often. If you toss it and then spray paint it you should go out of business. Tjmax, Marshall ect have said they will not do this anymore. So if you see there employees still doing it call them out. If you do not want us to have it then take it to the dump. If they put it in the dumpster it should be fair game. Tjmax and home goods was called out and promised to stop doing it.

We check all the retail store dumpsters that we have access to. Rarely do they get angry, It's not illegal unless your town has an ordinance prohibiting it.
