Thank you for the many memories, my mother sold AVON for many many years up till she passed away. She had shelves and shelves of these and twice a year I would help clean every one of them. I'm 82, and I had most of these. The Avon lady came about every two weeks and they had different bottles to order. I moved into a house with a fire place and used thecologne as a fire starter. I still have a few on my dresser. The idea was that they would gain value over the years, but only my generation knows about them.

I'm 68 and sold Avon from the 70s to 90s..gave my Mom lots an my sister has taken all of it. I was having a problem watching Steph not wrapping the pieces instead of just putting them to the side. This is the collection of an Avon Lady. My mom sol in the 80s. They were encouraged to buy the"collectible" stuff to show when they went door to door. The Albee award was for either an anniversary or $ amount goal met. ALL of those things have a HUGE following. There are books and books that discuss the collectible value. If you don't have time to sell these things and donate them, you could lose a bit of $$. The ones in original boxes ate worth even more! Nice haul guys. So sad someone died and their kids had no idea of the value.

This looks like an Avon Rep collection. The statue you found about the presidants club are one of pieces for the select few. Reps had to and still have to work their way up a sales ladder, and when you get to the top you get to be part of the presidents club ( this means you've sold a shed load of avon products).

I’m glad you took the chance to go dumpster diving again. You hit a major score right there. I think the lady who saved all that Avon stuff wasn’t just a collector, she was also a seller, and some of it was sales inventory or demonstrator models, or perhaps she bought some of it at a discount or received it as gifts for sales achievement. You should follow up on it and let us know what you do with everything you don’t keep. I couldn’t even begin to figure out the total value of everything. Hundreds, perhaps even thousands of dollars worth.

The ladies who collected those Avon perfume bottles also collected those talc holders but they came with a giant powder puff. Those talc powder plastic bowls with the lids you should keep them. There are still people that collect those as well.. sue

Oh my gosh that's so cool you found all that Avon stuff! For me it was like a trip down memory lane, all those vintage items. My Grandmother had most of them, she had shelves built in her huge living/ding room that were like 3 feet long and floor to ceiling along both sides of her room as sort of room dividers, that were fuul of all her Avon perfume bottles and collectable. Pretty much everything Avon sold. That is so cool! I even have a couple of the bottles in my hope chest. Oh and when you showed the peacock... The memories flooded back, that was one of my most favorites. My cousins and I would get in trouble fir paying "house" with them. Wow I had forgot about them! thank you thank you for going through all that stuff it really was so exciting for me. And wow the major, major resale value on all of that, you guys are "in the money" lol Congratulations what a score. Welcome back to the dumpsters. Avon's not really that collectible anymore. You can find those on Ebay for about $10-$15. Edited to say that some of those may be worth a lot more if they're hard to find. They should definitely do some research and start listing!

I use to be an Avon rep and it does not take long to get a lot of collectables we used as selling tools to show our customers. This person had quite the collection. I recently stopped by a dumpster the other day, and the department store had thrown away hundreds of potted plants .I got out as many as I could and they caught me. first time I've ever been caught. I calmly put the pots of flowers that I had in my hand in my SUV, got in and drove away

When I got older, I collected the red glass that was called the “Cape Cod Collection”. My ex-mother in law was an Avon lady for over 30yrs, needless to say, I had a lot of it. Lol.

It's a donkey. It's supposed to have a sombrero. There is a swan trinkets holder made in the same type of smoky glass. I have them,they were my grandmother's. The magnets usually the backs of name tags (the new kind so they don't harm your clothes like the pin kind do). I'd love to have the rabbit. She's adorable. If these are in the coordinating boxes don't throw away the box. They will be worth more.

That Avon stuff was a walk down memory lane - some of the containers and several of the scents. My mom loved timeless, I used sweet honesty, and my brothers used the wild country...... cool finds! Imagine the $$$ that were spent on these mostly for collection purposes. And they weren’t cheap even then. Adjusting for inflation I’d guess you’d pay upwards of $20 to $50 dollars now for those Avon bottles new and maybe more for some of the bigger ones. Great save guys!

@@mimievans8708 my Mama wore Cotillion cologne, too. It smelled so soft & sweet. She sold Avon for a very long time & collected all the decanters & bought my all of the Cape Cod stuff. I have an 8-place setting of the dishes, plus just about every other accessory piece they made.

Awe....reminded me of my momma. She used to sell Avon when I was a kid and I remember having some of those... for sure the leprechaun and pipe looking one, the pink bowl....wow the things that bring you a memory like a dream it floods back. 💕❤ Thank you.

Ahhh...I could just ***SMELL IT ALL THE WHOLE TIME!***😂😉😁-- I am 48 and used to help my Grandma sort the deliveries into the bags to go to ppl-- that WHOLE HAUL was suddenly like 1976-79 in the den *SURROUNDED BY MOUNTAINS* again!!🤣 When I saw the Mrs.Albee award..It confirmed that was someone's passion JOB, as I suspected- most collectors have THEMES.-- AND THE COST of that stuff was CRAZY!-- My mom could only afford a few 'Rose's Rose's' a years-- and ALOT of that Avon stuff has KEPT ITS SCENT TO THIS DAY!- PPL WILL BUY IT!! I just have to say I was SURPRISED that you guys weren't already 'overly familiar' with this stuff-- it started in CA. Btw-- the tub of little figures you found in the Hallmark stuff are called 'Merry Miniatures' and NEW OLD STOCK is worth money!!-- 'depending' on your figures, but ALLLL are collected. It depends on you guys level of what's worth your time vs. Profit-- with ALL you have going on!!🥰 Glad to see you 'inch back out there!'...I haven't been out yet since 3/13, but ask my husband to tell me WHEN he sees the stores in his plaza start to put out. * I THINK* he's lying they aren't yet🤣 LOVE YOU FOR ALLL YOU DO!!🥰👍💖

I earned the Roses Award Wine Glasses and Plates. Here in Australia I still use them today over 30 years later. It was a huge thing to earn and receive Roses. It showed you loved and admired the company you represented, Avon.

14:57 the carriage - I almost cried. I live in Portugal and the godmother of my older sister who lived in the usa sent us packages with things, in one of them came a carriage just like the one I still keep but I don't even need to look to know all the details I dreamed of these days by heart when we had almost nothing. I didn't know it was part of such a large collection, it was very emotional to see this video. Thank you :)
