Phone amplifier mark 6

Homemade phone amplifier exclusively for an iPhone 6 with any iPhone 6 case. All natural wood with no external power source. Can be tilted for watching videos. FREE PLANS AVAILABLE:

the song is "let her go". played from my piano at home except for last part which was played on the iPhone 6.
Majority of the wood used is cypress, mirrored for a more interesting look, although not obvious. The dowel in the middle is Tasmanian oak. The base is oregon. ten 8mm rare earth magnets were used, each 3mm thick.
This build was before I got my Veritas hand plane, therefore, it didn't show up in the video.
It is another gift project that I am giving away as with my second wooden watch.
The video was rebooted due to copyrighted song at the end of the video stopping me from making money off of it.

Great video and build, I'd just say be careful with long baggy sleeves like that on the table saw. It may just be the angle, but it looked like it was coming close to the saw.

I used clear varnish, which means no color, I think the brand was Cabot's

does the stick in the middle have an affect on the sound?

probably, I think it helps direct the sound a little better. My theory is that the sound forms kind of a vortex in the cylinder, and the stick helps to separate both sides of the vortex so that they don't get mixed up. If that made any sense
