Lloyd you can buy a lot of tools but the guys that fix stuff always say it's what's between your ears is what gets the job done and the tools just help a little bit. LOL

Good idea. That pulley holder gives me an idea about how to make an adjustable grinder wrench. I had planned on using an old adjustable wrench with some studs welded to the jaws that worked by opening and closing the wrench jaws.

Can`t say that I ever needed a pully holding tool....I have made a few tools in my day and it was because I was not able to get them when I needed them and I remember even making a special kind of puller and it failed me twice so I ended paying Kawasaki the big bucks for there puller....good looking tool Steve but I`ll pass on this one because the chances are slim of ever needing it....CHEERS and also gave you a thumbs up....good job

I am cheap so I definitely make my own tools, along those lines I snaked my chain wrench through an old bike tire inner tube to help prevent it from marring stuff up.

There's more than one way to skin a cat. On a manual transmission to get the pilot bushing out of the flywheel guys would pack grease into the hole and then hammer an alignment tool into the hole. Had a GMC truck where the pilot bushing was really stuck in the flywheel. I am trying all kinds of ways to get that bushing out and I couldn't get it to come out. So I'm taking a break and thinking and I'm looking through my tools to see if anything would hit me like a light bulb and I come across my tap and die set. I wonder if I have a tap big enough to fit that pilot bushing. Well I did but it took me a lot longer to find a big enough and long enough bolt to work. Needless to say it worked and the tapped out bushing was pressed out with the correct size bolt. I pulled a rabbit outta my hat that day. Good stuff Steve.

Our 4 month old granddaughter broke her elbow and they could not read the xrays too good. So they had my daughter and her husband take her to CHOP. Well they were concerned that it was an unusual break and wanted to do surgery, something about the ligaments or the cartilage so we went down to her place and stay with their son Owen while they took Liberty to CHOP for what was suppose to be an MRI but turned into an ultrasound of the elbow. I think they also did the good elbow for a comparison. Well we had a bunch of people praying that the bone would heal and she wouldn't need surgery. God is good and he answered prayer. So I am very thankful this year. Thanks for lending me your ear.
