Thanks for the post, I just bought this unit after my old motomaster 3000 watt crapped out after about 9 years of bouncing around in my semi truck. Thanks for addressing those hardwire lines, as I was wondering what they were for, ill just ignore them.

We had cameras on the windshiels of our charter buses. Those cameras failed because of condensation inside the camera. They didn't last long. If the camera isn't sealed and nitrogen filled, cold, hot changes make the misture build from humidity leaching in the camera housing. This was a common issue electronics exposed to adverse temperatures.
@SteveRobReviews5 сағат бұрын
So far I haven't experienced any camera concerns at all , just poor battery performance in cold weather.
@itsaboutfam5 сағат бұрын
Whats your long term impression of it? Has it started to leak or is it still holding up?
@SteveRobReviews5 сағат бұрын
No leaks , no concerns at all . Much better than before and no mess pulling out a drain plug bolt. I bought the end cap nozzle you attach a hose to that screws into the valve end and now it pours directly into my pan.

For engines designed to use conventional oil, synthetic oils' only issue is its uniform molecule size, which tends to be smaller than that of what is found in conventional oil which has a mix-match of small to larger oil molecules. The smaller molecules in synthetic oil make it more easily slip between gaps and crevices, causing higher oil consumption through the piston rings. Where the actual performance of oil is concerned, there is no competition at all in favor of synthetic.

I suspect the 60 inch length might have been intended more for pulling as opposed to lifting. A rod that long would almost certainly buckle under a heavy lift load as you got higher.
@SteveRobReviews10 сағат бұрын
Good point as I really wouldn't want to be lifting that high .
@fitch836311 сағат бұрын
I have a MAG-1000 which is a similar balancer. I mount the blade so the lift is out, opposite to what was done here, then check the straightness on the cutting edge which is where it matters.

When Coleman's bought out Keen's years ago [before Unilever was involved], they kept the original recipe to keep the loyal clientele Keen's has accrued.
@phelps901Күн бұрын
Because Synthetic Oil provides more protection and you need the rings to wear in. It will not wear fast enough with Synthetic oil because of the extra protection it provides. You need the regular to wear out faster for proper seat. Almost all small engines including 2 stroke have a break in recommendation before running normally.

Nice tip. We were always taught to get a handle on a file and to never use one with the tang exposed. This makes a permanent handle that won't fall off. Always fun to use hot glue for something other than sniffing! HAHA Great job, Steve!

I am a believer in synthetic oil where acceptable, but it is odd to me that they allow any synthetic at all in small engines, as they often call for ND30, or Non Detergent 30 weight oil. Since synthetics are chocked full of detergents.

Nice video! I want to try this, but will a predator die e.g. racoon, owl, eagle, hawk etc. if they eat the rat that died of this baking soda mix? Will it kill any squirrels if they eat this baking soda mix? I'm trying to get rid of the rats, but not the squirrels.
