We have to realize so much of what Steve is learning about life is from exploring as this has been his life for years. He comes across so many things he has either had no reason to have access to (women products, just one example) or was not born yet, to know about so many of the items he comes across. This is what I love about Steve and Big Bankz both , their innocence of life in general. And their great videos, of course. Love you boyz.

Hey Steve that big record player you found is called a HiFi console or High Fidelity console that was introduced in the 1950's and would play 33rpm vinyl LP and reel to reel tape! My grandmother had one & its still in the family today so it's definitely a classic & your lucky to have it.

How can you go out of business running a funeral home, like people just don't stop dying.
@felipauzzle901
@felipauzzle901 2 жыл бұрын
Idk it's crazy, I've taken care of a few men that had their own funeral homes at one point and even though they are dead and gone they are still running (they sold them years before they died, or had a partner and it was left to them to run) but it is crazy. Elderly care and the funeral business will always be in demand...

My family owned a funeral home for a few generations, my uncle being the last to run them. The family owned ones are being bought out or edged out by corporate funeral companies,.look.up dignity funeral company...it's a business like everything else..staff to pay, expensive tools and materials, a casket is $10k these days..a crematorium is sometimes over 500k to build, most people are just being cremated so I'd you have no ovens you aren't gonna get as much business.

So many memories that come to mind seeing these type of vintage items. Thanks Steve for sharing. There is nothing odd or creepy about living above a funeral home. I did it for years with my family. It’s just a building. Not used caskets. Those are displays. Most likely the elevator was to move from one floor to another. Our casket room was in the basement. And when they prepare bodies, they do not put them in a casket to prepare for their casket. They lay on a prep table until ready to be casketed.

Another funeral home from the local area step in and buried the bodies the original funeral director neglected to bury in the first place. They went above & beyond in helping out. The sad thing is I don't recall a follow up story on what type of punishment the funeral director received for neglecting the bodies he did in the first place. Our local newspaper failed to print one the best to my knowledge.

Just a note to let you know (you may know already) when you post premieres a week in advance, by the time they're available, they're about 4 or 5 columns down on the new content/subscriptions list. If you subscribe to a lot of content creators, even further down beyond all of the new content you've already viewed. So if your video view numbers seem to be going down, that may be the reason. Today's video was posted as a premiere early in the week but went live today...I just randomly noticed it about 5 rows down under videos I've already watched or I would have missed it altogether. Just an FYI.

My late Mother was a teacher. In the 1950s she teached a little boy, whos Mother was a famous- I don't know, sculptor?; she made statues, etc. We still have lots of them; she gave them as gifts to my mother, which sadly some threw away. Anyway, what I wanted to say was: My Mother spoke about one afternoon, when she visited that little boy or his Mother, ss you wsnt to choose :). It was a dark agz6zg7, she was guided into the living room, spend some nice hours. Afterwards she took her coat, they switched the light on so she could dress herself- and she yelled loud; in that room lay in original size the famous coffin of Tut-Ench-Amun. The family laughed in joy. Then the Mother opened the coffin and showed: She used to put the winter clothings inside his Majesty. It must have been a very impressive look.

Wow. Awesome. I got one my dad was English, I miss him. So young he should still be with us but he had such a non supportive support network of frienamys and terrarelatives all who cared for him.

You Crack me up... some of those Holly things are not caskets. They are what the would set a casket on when having a funeral. And the summers eave thing, I've never heard of using them as a remedy for constipation, they are used in woman hygiene. Silly boys!! I do enjoy your videos though!
