One question i have, what is diffrence between this version and the old one beside the Time. is there any other one? like you using a maybe newer version of lua or should i just go on with the old one if i have the time since if there is no difference that one would have more explanation on topics. As an example i can already see from the chapters that the metamethods and CO routines are not listed here although they can be explained in other ones. BTW, very great channel, you keep it updated and the content is beyond great. appreciate it.

Okay im gonna start the course from tmrw but im so confused how will i use this to make a game in Roblox. Cuz this isnt really showing any connection to how I'll make roblox game but technically roblox game does use lua so im learning this idk lol. do reply pls.. if u can pls make a video on how to make a game in Roblox or so

I do have some basic Roblox tutorials on my channel - you use Lua to make everything in your Roblox game do something, Roblox itself only allows you to design the game, but to make a car or character move or to allow a gun to shoot, you will need to write logic with Lua to get it to work

I can't read the text on the video. It is too small. Even zooming to the max amount dioesn't help because it gets blurry and pixelated.

Hello Steve! I have a question for you: How do you use the Cyrillic alphabet in lua? Let's say I print() a string with Cyrillic, and after running the code, the console displays some characters with the wrong encoding. Can you tell me how to fix it?

i couldnt even start the video cuz open with powershell wont appear

Powershell sometimes takes a while to open when you have a slow computer, try using command prompt instead or giving a good ol' reboot

Hello Sir! I have a question. What distro do you use for Linux ? I am planning to switch to Linux since I have heard a lot of good things from KZbin talking about it. I can’t really understand distros and don’t know what is the best distro for programming can you please help me? Thank you!
@Stevesteacher2 жыл бұрын
Hello! :) I use EndeavourOS, however, I would not recommend this distro to beginners, instead I would recommend Linux Mint, POP!_OS, Fedora or Manjaro, they have great communities and support, and are easier to work with ;)

Awesome job on the audio there.. starts off booming loud, then gets (Running Lua (VSCode)) so quiet you have to turn it up. Then blasts you out when it goes back to loud.

Sorry, each section had different audio configurations to fit it for noise reduction and pop protection :( I will try to reduce audio fluctuations in future videos ;)
