@@EvenTheDogAgrees As per my other comment, if you are into maths its kinda straight forward (look up "sequence and series" on wiki if you were interested in the logic behind it) but when executed well it definitely looked good (again as i said in my other comment that you were a bit rude about).

Fabulously fun and very magical!!! Recommend stating and showing that the top card of the face down blue deck is the QC and the bottom card (face card of the deck) of the face down blue deck is the QS, detail but adds clarity. Our local Sarasota Florida magician group meets every Tuesday evening at IHOP and we share our learned magic and critiques...this one is a really big winner. Thanks for sharing. I know you will not regret sharing this as the legacy of all magicians is when a magician 70- years from now says something like, "I learned this one is from Steveb Taputoro. Add to that the wonderfully brightened audiences. How can it be better then that!
@brianmendenhall83872 ай бұрын
Can I ask why you point out the top and bottom cards are the QS and QC? I was thinking just spread it face down and then ribbon fourish spread it face up, letting them glance that it is all mixed up. You can't let them stare too long as to possibly discover the pattern. Love to know your thoughts!

😮Let me know if you know this one😊 My favorite trick I love showing for over 40 year now is 3 rows of 7 cards vertically. They choose any card and just tell me which row it’s in. Redeal the 3 rows of cards, with their pile always in the middle of the 3 rows. until you’ve done this 3 different times. Then the 4th time just deal the top 16 cards upside down in 4 different piles of 4 cards, the remainder of cards just put aside. Then you say point to any 2 cards, keep going until you’re down to the last 2 cards then the last card is theirs. Everyone loves it!!

An idea for you guys (using a table): - Spectators shuffle the red deck and name a card. - You spread the cards on a table and tell spectators to touch and take their chosen card. - While they search for their card, you locate "your" card and then cut the deck in the desired position. Tip: While spreading the cards you touch every single card in the table, trying to "help" them locating their card, but in fact you are locating your card and preparing yourself for cutting the deck.

Liking and commenting as requested, before you explain the trick. Here's my prediction of how it's done: the blue deck is arranged specially beforehand: each card is placed at a known position (the number of cards is 52 minus the number on its back away from the top of the deck); each card has a counterpart (they add up to 52 on their backs--5 of clubs had 33, 8 of hearts had 19). When you were pretending to be searching for the 5 of clubs, you were actually looking for the 8 of hearts first; I'm guessing the counterparts always add to 13 to make it easy to remember, and the suits are paired such that hearts and clubs go together. Then, when you're dealing cards down to "pick the place in the deck to put the 5" you're placing the 8 of hearts on top of it regardless where they choose (because it is on the bottom of the deck in your hand). Then it's only a matter of showmanship to pretend like it randomly ended up being next to the 19.

@JeanMoreau45732 ай бұрын
It is a very interesting trick endeed. But strictly speaking, it is not an ACAAN trick : to be so, a card as well as a number should be a free choice. It is not the case in this trick, as only the name of the card is a free choice. The number seems to be a free choice, but is not, it is forced by the other card 3 ranks up in the Si Stebbins stack used as a key card when compleeting the cut.
@eyewaves...2 ай бұрын
@@JeanMoreau4573 It is an ACAAN trick version. You are describe the Berglas effect - which appears to be a free choice - emphasis on 'appears'. Nearly every card trick is deception, sleigh, logic or force...Obviously mostly it is not obvious, lol...
